Army Combat Stress Film

Soldiers who have served in a combat zone often return home with invisible wounds. The incidence of combat related mental health diagnosis of servicemen returning from Afghanistan and Iraq has reached a record high, yet a portion of the veteran population continues to go untreated. Dispelling the stigma associated with mental health diagnosis is a critical step to insure veterans get the treatment they need.

Changing lives through the positive power of film

After producing his first film, Commitment & Sacrifice, filmmaker Norman Lloyd received overwhelming response from all who have seen it, including those now serving in uniform, military veterans and their families as well as those with no military service.

Inspired by the valor, self-sacrifice and commitment of the United States Military, Commitment & Sacrifice Foundation is dedicated to the production and distribution of films that benefit military personnel, veterans and their families.

About the Foundation

The Commitment & Sacrifice Foundation utilizes film as a means to address the growing concern over mental health injuries, such as Combat Operational Stress, Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and Post Traumatic Stress (PTSD), sustained by some of our brave warriors during military service. Our film production team's extensive experience filming combat and working with the military puts the Commitment & Sacrifice Foundation in a unique position to create films that can bridge understanding between military personnel, veterans, and their families.
